Terms of use
In short: 123BMICalculator is free to use, for anyone, for any lawful purpose. The results are carefully calculated from published methods, but they are screening information, not medical advice — talk to a doctor about anything that matters for your health.
Using the site
- You may use every calculator free of charge, as often as you like, at home, at work, in class or in a clinic. No account is needed.
- You may link to any page, and to any result, from anywhere. Links to results can be built as described in llms.txt.
- Please don't overload the site with automated requests or try to break it.
Not medical advice
BMI, body-fat estimates, waist ratios and calorie figures are screening tools for adults and children. They do not diagnose any condition, and they can mislead for some people — for example very muscular people, older adults, pregnant women, and people of some ethnic backgrounds. The calculators explain these limits where they apply. Nothing on this site replaces advice from a doctor, dietitian, midwife or other qualified professional who knows you. If you are worried about your weight, your child's growth, an eating disorder or unexplained weight loss, please seek medical help.
Accuracy
We test the calculators against worked examples and the published sources — including the CDC's own reference values for the child growth charts — and the methods are explained on how BMI is calculated. Even so, the results are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site.
